But is this kid cute or what? Minus the drool on his shirt, of course. :)

Jack and Ace
Jack and Ace have a sweet relationship. It's a mutual love most of the time between the two of them. Ace only runs away from Jack occasionally!

Ace liked the idea of having a new nap buddy.
Now, Ace can hardly get a nap without Jack interrupting him.

Surfside
We went to Surfside Beach with some of my family for a weekend in the sun. The weather was great and we had fun boogie boarding, playing in the sand, and eating as always.
My mom got this pool for Jack in hopes that it would contain him, but he crawled right out.

The Latest and Greatest
July 4th was pretty uneventful for us this year since Jack goes to sleep before the fireworks start. We did enjoy a fun weekend with a big lunch at Nonnie and Joepa's, and we also grilled out with my mom and Kelly. We did wear our red, white and blue to church and enjoyed some mexican food afterward!
We also went to Moody Gardens recently with our friends Roxanne and Lucy. We went to the Rainforest Pyramid, which was very neat. Butterflies and lots of plants!
Jack is a funny guy. Here are a few of the latest pictures.

8 Months
Jack recently turned 8 months and is growing up so fast. I think his main mission in life now is to find anything to pull up on. He crawls but would much rather "walk," meaning you holding his hands and guiding him around the house all day. My hamstrings are thanking him for the workout. Here are a few pictures of our latest adventures. The first is a picture of Scott and his dad, which we recreated for a Father's day gift for Joepa.
Can you see my 2 teeth?
Jack's first boat ride! He did awesome and is definitely a water baby.

Beach Time!
We went with Scott's family to Galveston for a few days of fun in the sun. Amy is due on June 30th so she was a trooper and hung in there with all of us. We had a blast and it was a treat to see Jack's reaction to all the new things he was experiencing. The ocean, sand, beach air...
I love vacationing with my family. We all slow down, eat a lot, laugh a lot and feel very blessed to have each other.
